Craig Henzel

Craig Henzel is a global business executive, entrepreneur and advisor to C-Suite Executives in the Global Fortune 100/FTSE 50.  As a prior senior executive, VP of Finance and Division CFO, Craig has led multi-billion dollar Business Transformations in large, multi-national organizations and drove enterprise-wide strategy development and execution.  He’s led $40bn+ M&A integration and synergy realization, operating model design, and cost optimization programs that contributed significant tangible and sustained EBITDA and EPS improvement. 


Having held senior leader positions General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, AstraZeneca, Genpact and entrepreneurial start-up’s, Craig has delivered a track record of consistent business success in the Management Consulting, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, IT, and Consumer Products industries with broad business exposure in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific markets. 


A retired Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard, Craig was the senior officer of the 127-ship Afloat Task Force that cleaned up the Gulf of Mexico after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster in 2010 and is the former Deputy Director of Personnel for the Coast Guard’s Atlantic Area Command (30,000+ people) stretching from the Colorado Rockies to the Persian Gulf and Arctic to Antarctic Circles.  He has led the Coast Guard Reserve Forces in the States of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland enforcing all applicable maritime commerce and transportation laws, and providing response to search & rescue incidents, collisions at sea, and oil spills.

A passionate advocate for veterans' issues with our citizen sailors, soldiers, Marines and airmen, Craig was 1 of 5 leaders across the United States to win the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award in his capacity as President of the Veterans Leadership Network at Merck in 2010.

Craig holds a B.S. in Management and Economics from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a M.S in Business Administration (with honors) from Boston University, and Graduate Certificates in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Notre Dame University, Digital Strategies for Business from the Columbia Business School and National Security Strategy from National Defense University.
