Gerhard Gschwandtner
Founder and CEO of Selling Power
Gerhard Gschwandtner is the founder and CEO of Selling Power, a multi-channel media company that produces the award-winning Selling Power magazine and Selling Power TV, a daily video interview series on sales success.
Gerhard developed and hosts the Sales 3.0 Conference. He also delivers the state of the industry keynote at these conferences that are held in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Philadelphia. Each year over 1,500 senior sales leaders learn how to align people, process and technology to improve sales effectiveness and create greater customer value.
Gerhard is the author of 17 books on the subject of sales, management, and motivation. He has created over 500 video interviews with sales and marketing leaders such as Seth Godin, Richard Branson and Michael Dell. His YouTube channel has attracted over 1.6 million views.
Over the course of three decades, he has interviewed some of the most successful leaders and experts in sales, business, sports, entertainment, and politics, and created Selling Power cover stories with Colin Powell, Danica Patrick, Marc Benioff, George Foreman, Larry Ellison, Jay Leno, Meg Whitman, and many more. Gerhard has studied the lives of hundreds of peak performers and conducted a study on the thinking styles of high achievers with Dr. Seymour Epstein of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has also co-authored articles with Dr. David Burns, a noted psychiatrist and bestselling author of Feeling Good, the New Mood Therapy.
During the past two years Gerhard worked with world-renowned coaches and psychologists to create the Peak Performance Mindset workshop. Gerhard personally trained and coached dozens of certified workshop leaders, created 14 Mindset videos, written the leader’s guide, the participants workbook and the 12-week Peak Performance Mindset Journal.
Gerhard received the Sales & Marketing Executives International, Inc. 2010 Ambassador of Free Enterprise Award.
